The horror film Z (Canada - 2019) marks the second collaboration between filmmaker Brandon Christensen and producer/screenwriter Colin Minihan (Grave Encounters, What Keeps You Alive), as well as director of Blood-red desert. In fact, the two had already collaborated together in 2018 for Still/Born, the horror film about postpartum madness.
The story of Z stars Mr. and Mrs. Parsons, a couple terrorized by the imaginary friend of Joshua (Jett Klyne), their eight-year-old boy. In fact, the little one's new playmate is a malevolent entity who has no intention of playing.
In the cast of Z include Keegan Connor Tracy (Bates Motel), Jett Klyne (Sky Scraper), Sean Rogerson (Grave Encounters), Sara Canning, Ali Webb, Stephen McHattie, Chandra West, Deborah Ferguson, and Kevin Doree.
The film will be released in May 2020.
