Giallo è un serial killer che tortura e uccide donne bellissime, spesso turiste o top model, di passaggio in città . La sua ultima preda si chiama Celine (Elsa Pataky) ed è una giovane modella ma questa volta l'assassino sta per commettere un errore che potrebbe essergli fatale e che metterà sulle sue tracce l'ispettore Enzo Avolfi (Adrien Brody), un uomo cupo e dal passato misterioso, affiancato da Linda (Emmanuelle Seigner), assistente di volo nonché sorella di Celine.
