Extremes) and which will be screened at the Toronto International Film Festival next September. News today is that Yakuza Apocalypse has been purchased by Samuel Goldwyn Films and will be released on October 9.
Yakuza Apocalypse è un vampire movie, per l'esattezza un action-thriller che sfocia nella commedia. Ad occuparsi della sceneggiatura è stato Yoshitaka Yamaguchi mentre del cast fanno parte Hayato Ichihara, Yayan Ruhian, Lily Frankie, Rirî Furankî, Tetsu Watanabe e Mio Yûki.
Genyo Kamiura is a fearsome Yakuza boss and also a vampire. One day, men from an enemy clan give him an ultimatum: join them or die. Kamiura refuses and during the confrontation is beaten to death. With his last breath before he dies, he passes his vampire powers to his loyal lieutenant Kageyama who will make it his goal to avenge him at any cost.
