After the Bookbox edition sold out, the extreme horror Xpiation (Italy - 2018) is once again available on DVD in the limited Mediabook edition (DVD + 20-page Booklet - only 300 copies) branded TetroVideo.
Written by Andrea Cavaletto (Hidden in the Woods, Hyde's Secret Nightmare) and directed by Domiziano Cristopharo (House of Flesh Mannequins, Red Krokodil), Xpiation is the concluding chapter of the "Death Trilogy," the Italian extreme saga of which the following are a part Sacrifice and Torment, directed by Poison Rouge and Adam Ford, respectively.
The protagonists of the story are a mysterious dark lady (Chiara Pavoni), a drug addict (Simone Tolu) and a Hispanic man (Emanuele d'Elia). The latter is bound and gagged inside an abandoned building. Here a camera will capture the pain that the woman will have the stranger inflict in a cruel game of perversion that aims to bring so much suffering.
Of the cast of Xpiation are part of Chiara Pavoni (Demonium, Hyde's Secret Nightmare, P.O.E. 4 - The Black Cat, Jack the St. Ripper), Simone Tolu and Emanuele d'Elia.
The soundtrack is by Antony Coia (House of Flesh Mannequins, The Obsessed).
