HEAVY INFLUENCES - A couple of weeks ago, the director Ridley Scott decided to reveal the truth about the mysterious prequel to Alien On which he is currently working. That's how we found out how Prometheus (this is the title of the film), which originated as a prequel to Alien, has been transformed into something completely new, set in another universe and absolutely detached from the Ripley sci-fi saga. In this regard, we republish the words that Scott released during the "revelations."

"Although Alien was the starting point for this project, during the creative process we built a great new mythology and universe in which the story will take place. Astute fans will spot strips of Alien DNA, if we can call it that, but the ideas we will exploit in this film will be unique, big and provocative. I couldn't be happier to have found the story I've been looking for, and to finally return to this genre [science fiction] so close to my heart".

The question is--how "big" will these "Alien DNA Strips"?
The Skymovies learned that Pinewood Studios was built for Prometheus a "Space Jockey," the alien in command of a strange platform that appeared in the first Alien. So far there would be nothing strange, we know that the film started as a prequel to Alien to then take a new route, and perhaps Space Jockey was initially planned for some scenes. The hypothesis would not make a wrinkle, if it were not the same source of Skymovies to discredit it and claim that the alien will return in Prometheus! And if that were not enough, always Skyline reveals that one of the key plot elements of the film will be the Xenomorphs' DNA. But... sure this is not a prequel to Alien? Latest advance from the "mystery source":

"The mother ship in the film will be piloted by a huge head that will probably be made in CGI.".

Since there is no confirmation or denial whatsoever, for now all this news can be filed as "rumor."
Prometheus will debut in American theaters on March 9, 2012.
