XYZ FILMS has released, online, the new trailer for the Australian zombie action movie Wyrmwood: Apocalypse, the sequel to Wyrmwood: Road of The Dead (2014).
Loaded with splatter, the film is directed by brothers Kiah and Tristan Roache-Turner (Daemonrunner), the directors of the first installment-and will be available for video on demand starting April 14, 2022, and then will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on May 17 with XYZ.
The story of Wyrmwood: Apocalypse takes place in a zombie-infested Australian wasteland, where Private Rhys (Luke Mckenzie) has dedicated his life to tracking and capturing survivors for the Surgeon General in hopes of finding a cure.
Young Rhys will join a group of superpowered survivors to rescue Grace, a young woman destined for military experiments who may hold the key to human salvation.
