Dead bodies and blood in new images of Wrong Turn, the reboot of Wrong Turn - The forest is hungry (2003) by Rob Schmidt.
Written by Alan B. McElroy (the author of the script for the original film) and directed by Mike P. Nelson (The Domestics), the new Wrong Turn is the seventh installment in the franchise and was given a Rating R due to "blood, violence, gruesome images and inappropriate language."
The film will be available on DVD and Blu-ray and for video on demand (U.S. market) starting Feb. 23, 2021, but a possible Italian release date is not yet known.
Plot: a group of friends organize to hike the Appalachian Trail. Once they get there, however, they will have to deal with the "Foundation," a community of people who have lived in the mountains since the Civil War and do not like the presence of outsiders.

The saga Wrong Turn was started in 2003 by Rob Schmidt with Wrong Turn - The forest is hungry to which the two sequels are linked Wrong Turn 2 - No Way Out (2007) and Wrong Turn 3 - Deadly Turn (2009)-Three prequels have also been made over the years: Wrong Turn 4 - The Mountain of Fools (2011), Wrong Turn 5 - Bloodbath (2012) e Wrong Turn 6: Last Resort (2014).
