Produced by Constantin Film, the remake features Mike P. Nelson, author of the recent The Domestics (2018) while the screenplay will be by Alan B. McElroy, the screenwriter of the first five chapters of the saga Wrong Turn but also of films such as Halloween 4 - Il ritorno di Michael Myers and Spawn.
Recall that the story of Wrong Turn - Il bosco ha fame is about a family of cannibals who live in the forests of West Virginia and hunt down people who venture into their area.
Il rifacimento affronterà il tema del cannibalismo e vedrà protagonisti alcuni ragazzi che avranno la sfortuna di conoscere la "Fondazione", una comunità di persone che vive sulle montagne da secoli.
