In a reality TV show, six contestants must spend six days in a forest in West Virginia and thus prove their survival skills. But they will soon find themselves fighting for their very lives when they come across a family of deformed cannibals.
Wrong Turn 2 is the second chapter (almost completely unrelated to the first) devoted to a family of cannibals. Unlike the first, which was more inspired by older Hooper-style films, in this sequel, in addition to references to Don't Open That Door (dinner sequence) and The Hills Have Eyes, we also find references to Predator and a plot that is closer to a typical American slasher (evidence of which is the current reality TV theme) populated by classic good-looking characters (one of the film's weak points).
The unfolding of the story is quite predictable, the plot is flimsy and trivial, the script is flawed, the acting is bad (as opposed to Wrong Turn where there had been some noteworthy evidence), and the dialogue is disgraceful ... it is more properly a poor product, definitely inferior to its predecessor.
The only positive notes are the make-up of the monsters and the very well done Splatter/Gore sequences (giant meat grinders, people literally split in two with axes).
