Witchula: witch-vampire film in pre-production

witchulaIt is entitled Witchula the film in pre-production by Marcus Bradford, an actor (Reunion) and American producer who recently embarked on a career as a director and screenwriter. Marcus Bradford handled the screenplay for the film with Pat Kusnadi. The two are also its producers along with John Blythe (My Amityville Horror) and Matt Chassin (Krampus - The Christmas Devil).

Witchula, which is scheduled to begin filming in mid-2016, is a supernatural horror thriller that boasts in its cast the presence of two horror icons with stellar filmographies-Maria Olsen and Bill Oberst Jr. The film's special feature is related to the script that combines several horror figures including werewolves, vampires, witches and more. In addition, according to the press release, the film counts the presence of a new creature, a hybrid: the witch-vampire.

The protagonist of the story is a young pregnant student who is worried about the life of her future unborn child. In fact, the girl discovers that a powerful witch-vampire is interested in her baby. The high school girl will try hard to kill the dangerous creature with the help of her boyfriend in order to protect the baby.

The casting phase is not yet completed, however, the confirmed names are those of Maria Olsen and Bill Oberst Jr. who are joined by Marilyn Ghigliotti, Eileen Dietz, Ruth Reynolds, Edwin Modlin, Anil Sankaramanchi, Jeremy Tristan, Destiny Soria, Woody Wilson and Joseph Love.
