Revealed the new poster of Wish Upon (USA - 2017), the horror film directed by John R. Leonetti, the director of Annabelle as well as the director of photography on Dead Silence, Insidious, The Conjuring and Beyond the Twilight Zone-Insidious 2. Produced by Sherryl Clark (Cloverfield) and written by Barbara Marshall (Viral), Wish Upon will debut in U.S. theaters starting July 14, 2017, thanks to Broad Green Pictures.
In the fim, a bullied girl will come into possession of a diabolical music box which will allow her to make wishes.
The cast includes: Joey King (The Conjuring), Ryan Phillippe, Ki Hong Lee, Mitchell Slaggert, Sydney Park, Shannon Purser, Kevin Hanchard and Sherilyn Fenn.
Plot: Seventeen-year-old Clare Shannon (Joey King) has not yet gotten over the loss of her mother, who died by suicide many years earlier. Shy and introverted, the girl lives with an obsessive father, is unrequited in love and is picked on by her peers. What will radically change her life will be an old music box given to her by her parent and which she discovers can grant seven wishes. Captivated by the mysterious object's charm, Clare will begin to make wishes to avenge the wrongs she has suffered, heedless of the terrible consequences.
