After the Italian poster and trailer, Eagle Pictures rivela anche due clip ("La scatola" e "Deisderi") in lingua italiana dell'horror Wish Upon (USA - 2017), the film about the devilish music box that can grant wishes. Directed by John R. Leonetti, the director of Annabelle, Wish Upon will debut in Italian cinemas on July 13.
Il film è interpretato da Joey King (L’evocazione – The Conjuring), qui nel ruolo di Clare Shannon, un’adolescente turbata dalla morte della madre. Molto riservata e timida, la ragazza vive con un padre ossessivo ed è vittima di bullismo. Un vecchio carillon regalatole dal genitore darà una svolta alla sua vita: l'oggetto infatti è in grado di esaudire sette desideri e Clare li sfrutterà per vendicarsi dei torti subiti, incurante delle terribili conseguenze.
In the cast, in addition to Joey King, are: Ryan Phillippe, Sydney Park, Ki Hong Lee, Mitchell Slaggert, Shannon Purser, Kevin Hanchard, and Sherilyn Fenn.
The script for the film is by Barbara Marshall (Viral) while Sherryl Clark (the producer of Cloverfield) appears in the production.
