Ahead of the U.S. release set for Feb. 15, the sequel to Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey (UK - 2022), the slasher horror written and directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield.
The announcement can be found on the official Twitter page of Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey along with a teaser poster. There are currently no other details about the project.
Shot in only 10 days in the surroundings of Ashdown Forest, Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey is a horror retelling of Winnie the Pooh, a series of children's novels conceived by Alan Alexander Milne and starring the famous teddy bear, here transformed into a ruthless killer along with his friends.
The film will also arrive in Italy distributed by Plaion Pictures.
Plot of Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey: Christopher Robin (Nikolai Leon) abandons his friends Winnie (Craig David Dowsett) and Piglet (Chris Cordell) in the "100 Acre Wood" to go to college. This separation will lead the two to follow their instincts, becoming savages and attacking the people living around the forest.
