Plaion Pictures has announced the acquisition of the sequel to Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey (UK - 2022), the slasher horror written and directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield.
The sequel was announced last February with a message on Twitter.
Shot in only 10 days, Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey is a horror retelling of Winnie the Pooh, a series of children's novels created by Alan Alexander Milne and starring the famous teddy bear, here transformed into a ruthless killer along with his friends.
The film will arrive in Italy distributed by Plaion Pictures.
Plot of Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey: Christopher Robin (Nikolai Leon) abandons his friends Winnie (Craig David Dowsett) and Piglet (Chris Cordell) in the "100 Acre Wood" to go to college. This separation will lead the two to follow their instincts, becoming savages and attacking the people living around the forest.
