Online slasher poster Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey (UK - 2022), the horror revival of Winnie the Pooh, a series of children's novels created by Alan Alexander Milne and featuring the famous teddy bear as the main character.
Directed by Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey there is newcomer Rhys Frake-Waterfield, who also handled the film's screenplay, turning the sweet anthropomorphic teddy bear and his other friendly characters (all conceived by Milne) into psychopathic killers.
In Rhys Frake-Waterfield's film, Christopher Robin is headed for college and has abandoned his old friends. A separation, this one, that will lead them to follow their own instincts.
"Christopher Robin made Pooh and Piglet's life quite difficult," the director revealed, speaking about the plot of his film. He added, "They had to fend for themselves, becoming savages... They are no longer domesticated: they are ferocious animals looking for prey."
"Pooh and Piglet have no remorse, they are really very sadistic. Piglet is practically almost his servant, he does whatever Pooh wants."
Rhys Frake-Waterfield also revealed that Tigger and Eeyore will not appear in Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey Because of copyright issues.
The cast includes Natasha Tosini, Amber Doig-Thorne, Craig David Dowsett, Maria Taylor, Nikolai Leon, Christopher Robin, May Kelly, Simon Ellis, Richard D. Myers (The Candy Witch), Chris Cordell, and Jase Rivers.
