Online the new trailer and poster of Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2, the sequel to Winnie the Pooh: blood and honey (UK - 2022), Rhys Frake-Waterfield's horror slasher.
The latter is involved in the project again as director while Waterfield and Scott Jeffrey produced the film with Jagged Edge Productions.
According to Rhys Frake-Waterfield's disclosure, the budget for this sequel was raised tenfold and filming was completed in September. The film will be much richer in special effects and action than the first installment and is scheduled for U.S. release in early 2024.
Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey is a horror retelling of Winnie the Pooh, a series of children's novels conceived by Alan Alexander Milne and starring the famous teddy bear, here transformed into a ruthless killer along with his friends.
The story follows Pooh as he leaves the 100 Acre Wood and, along with the other creatures, will continue his bloody battle in the quiet community of Ashdown.
In the cast of Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 include Simon Callow, Tallulah Evans, Scott Chambers, Ryan Olivia (Seasoning House) and Peter DeSouza-Feighoney (The Pope's Exorcist).
The screenplay is by Rhys Frake-Waterfield himself in collaboration with Matt Leslie (Summer of 84).
