Hollywood Reporter has released, online, the first images of Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2, the sequel to Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey (UK - 2022), the slasher horror written and directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield.
The latter is again involved in the project as director while Waterfield and Scott Jeffrey produced the film through Jagged Edge Productions.
According to what was revealed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield, this second installment (made with a larger budget than the first) features different-looking characters, a new cast, and a high number of murders.
The story features Pooh leaving the 100 Acre Wood and, along with the other creatures, continuing his bloody battle in the quiet community of Ashdown.
We remember you that Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey is a horror retelling of Winnie the Pooh, a series of children's novels created by Alan Alexander Milne and starring the famous teddy bear, here transformed into a ruthless killer along with his friends.
In the film, in addition to Winnie The Pooh, there will be other characters from the literary work such as Christopher Robin, Piglet and Owl (Owl).
In the cast of Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 include: Simon Callow, Tallulah Evans, Scott Chambers, Ryan Olivia (Seasoning House) and Peter DeSouza-Feighoney (The Pope's Exorcist).
The screenplay, on the other hand, is by Matt Leslie (Summer of 84).
