We report the release of the official trailer of Wildling (USA - 2018), the werewolf horror film directed by newcomer Fritz Böhm, who co-wrote the screenplay with Florian Eder. The film had its world premiere at South By Southwest in Austin and will be released in U.S. theaters and also in digital format starting April 13 through IFC Midnight.
Starring in the story is the very young Bel Powley, who plays a teenage girl allegedly suffering from lycanthropy. She is also joined by Liv Tyler and Brad Dourif.
Anna (Bel Powley) is a young girl who has grown up in total isolation from a male figure she regards as a father. The man, however, has always hidden the truth about her origins from her. Raised and guided through the world by a policewoman (Liv Tyler), Anna will find that she is different from other girls her age. In addition to feeling a strange attraction to wild life in the forests, the young girl feels a very strong bloodlust growing day by day.
Collin Kelly-Sordelet, Mike Faist, James Le Gros, Kelly Lamor Wilson, Troy Ruptash, Patrick M. Walsh, Frank Deal, Charlotte Ubben and Keenan Jolliff also appear in the cast.
