Sean S. Cunningham, the producer of Who is buried in that house? (House) directed by Steve Miner in 1986, is working on a new project namely the remake of the said film. The remake is currently in development, and Cunningham is determined to retain all the elements of the original story while taking up the haunted house theme in a still humorous vein but making a few changes.
In fact, Sean S. Cunningham planned to include a female character in the story to replace the male character in the original film.
Indeed, in the 1986 film, the main character is Roger Cobb (William Katt), a young writer who is a Vietnam veteran and moves into the home of his aunt who died by suicide. His stay in the old mansion will not be easy but very troubled as the man will experience strange and terrifying episodes followed by nightmares and hallucinations.
Who is buried in that house? enjoys three sequels: Helen's House o House 6 (House II: The Second Story) from 1987; House 7 (The Horror Show o House III) from 1987; Who killed Roger? o House IV - Impalpable Presences (House IV) of 1992.
