Sean S. Cunningham, the producer of House (House) directed by Steve Miner in 1986, is working on a new project namely the remake of the said film. The remake is currently in development, and Cunningham is determined to retain all the elements of the original story while taking up the haunted house theme in a still humorous vein but making a few changes.
In fact, Sean S. Cunningham planned to include a female character in the story to replace the male character in the original film.
