Directed by Corin Hardy (The Nun, The Hallow), the horror antholoy film Whistle will hit Italian theaters on February 19.

From the producers of the acclaimed Evil Dead Rise and Longlegs, Whistle has been presented as a film that blends the adrenaline-fueled race against death of Final Destination with the adolescent fears of Talk To Me, giving rise to a concept that is as original as it is disturbing and full of tension.
The film revolves around an ancient Aztec object, actually used in ancient times to summon Death and instill terror in enemies during battle. Its gruesome sound carries with it a curse: anyone who hears it will meet a tragic fate. This is what happens to a group of high school students, marginalized teenagers and outsiders, persecuted by Death because of the cursed object.
The cast includes Dafne Keen (Logan, Deadpool & Wolverine), Sophie Nélisse (47 Meters Down: Uncaged), Sky Yang, Jhaleil Swaby, Ali Skovbye, Percy Hynes White, and Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead).
Plot: A group of high school students discover an ancient Aztec artifact, a death whistle used to accompany the souls of sacrificed victims to the afterlife. The students make the mistake of blowing it, unaware that hearing its bloodcurdling sound will summon the Death, who is ready to hunt them down.
