More than a year ago we told you about When Animals Dream (Når dyrene drømmer), the Danish film about lycanthropy. An official poster is available of the film and also the release date, set for next August 28 for both U.S. theaters and video on demand.
When Animals Dream is directed by Jonas Alexander Arnby and Lars Mikkelsen on a screenplay by Rasmus Birch. The cast includes Sonia Suhl, Lars Mikkelsen, Jakob Oftebro, Sonja Richter, Mads Riisom, and Esben Dalgaard.
Marie (Sonia Suhl) is a 16-year-old girl living in a Danish village with her father and sick mother. Brutal murders begin to occur locally, leading people to fear Marie and her family. The father is aware of his daughter's secret and has always tried to curb his animalistic impulses.
