Exclusively for DarkVeins, the trailer and new images of What have you done, Daniel?, the disturbing drama/horror directed by Domiziano Cristopharo (TetroManiac: eROTik, The Obsessed) and starring Lynn Lowry, the cult actress from The Crazies (1973) by George A. Romero and Shivers (1975) by David Cronenberg.
Filmed in Naples in 2017, What have you done, Daniel? Is the prequel to the extreme horror Sacrifice (to be directed by Poison Rouge), the fourth installment of the well-known franchise American Guinea Pig into which they fall Bouquet of Guts and Gore, Bloodshock and The Song of Solomon.
What have you done, Daniel? in fact sheds light on Daniel's (Roberto Scorza) past and his connection to the cult of Ishtar.
Plot: Shy and fragile, Daniel (Roberto Scorza) is a boy who is very close to his disabled mother (Lynn Lowry), a victim of an abusive alcoholic husband. After the woman's death, the self-destructive young man strikes up a relationship with a distant cousin (Flora Giannattasio) who initiates him into a secret cult of a subway sect.
At the same time, however, Daniel becomes the object of his father's (Francesco Giannotti) increasingly morbid attention.
Produced by Stefano Bastiani (Xpiation) and by Francesco Giannotti, What have you done, Daniel? boasts an exceptional cast. In addition to being the first film shot in Italy for the celebrated Lynn Lowry (Fighting Mad, The Panther's Kiss), this prequel enjoys the presence of legendary American director Frank Laloggia (Scarlatti - Lady in White) as well as star of Nightmare Symphony Of Cristopharo himself.
Also in the cast are Roberto Scorza and Flora Giannattasio of AGP: Sacrifice, along with Francesco Giannotti, Chiara Pavoni (Xpiation) and Elisa Carrera Fumagalli (Deep Web XXX).
The screenplay of What have you done, Daniel? is by Andrea Cavaletto (Hyde's Secret Nightmare, Hidden in the Woods) while cinematography is by Daniele Trani (Beyond the Woad, Virus: Extreme Contamination).
Special effects are by Athanasius Pernath and Roberta Budicin.
