After the poster, the official Italian trailer of Wednesday (aka Wednesday), the TV series about Wednesday Addams, the teenage daughter of the ghoulish Morticia and Gomez, played here by Jenna Ortega, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzmán, respectively.
Created by Tim Burton (Edward Scissorhands, Batman - The Return, Corpse Bride) and Miles Millar (Smallville), the series is a mystery with investigative and supernatural overtones and will arrive on Netflix on November 23.
Wednesday (2022) reimagines the famous Addams family in a different key, focusing, in particular, on their teenage daughter Wednesday (Jenna Ortega), a student at Nevermore Academy, a prestigious school for "outcasts." Here the young Addams will have to master her paranormal powers to shed light on the antecedents that affected her family 25 years ago and to foil a series of murders affecting the small town where she lives.
Tim Burton is involved in the project as executive producer (along with Alfred Gough and Miles Millar) and as director, directing four of the eight episodes of the first season.
Miles Millar stated, "The ambition is to make an eight-hour long Tim Burton film."
The cast also includes Gwendoline Christie, Percy Hynes White, Jamie McShane, Hunter Doohan, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Moosa Mostafa, Georgie Farmer, Riki Lindhome, and Christina Ricci, a U.S. actress best known for playing Wednesday Addams in The Adams Family 1991.
