Lovecraft.
Abstract: An Italian scientist goes to Kosovo to study the impact of a meteorite that is presumed to be the cause of some strange events that have occurred there. Upon reaching the destination, the man discovers that the celestial body has been moved to a nearby military base, where all the people have turned into monstrous creatures.
Virus: Extreme Contamination, shot in Kosovo and partly in Italy (Ferrara), is produced by Filmon Aggujaro and Halil Budakova, an actor well known in his home country and who plays the role of Ammi in Cristopharo's film. In Albanian, the feature film will be subtitled in English.
The cast consists mostly of Kosovar actors, including Halil Budakova, Cun Lajci, Merita Budakova, Vilson Spaqi, Adrian Vila, Edi Lushi, Adam Kicaj, Avni Lushtaku, and Faik Gashi. They are joined by Michael Segal, Rimi Beqiri and Paola Barale, a well-known Italian TV personality.
The film's soundtrack, on the other hand, is by Antony Coia.
