Let's go back to talking about Virus: Extreme Contamination, the old-style horror/sci-fi film by Domiziano Cristopharo. Filming took place in Kosovo in December while in early January a second phase of filming took place in Ferrara, exactly at the Palazzo Roverella. Today, January 22, it was announced that the film is being edited.
Virus: Extreme Contamination is a film that harkens back to the filmography of the 1980s, and for those who are curious, we have collected a new set of photos. The screenplay is by Antonio Tentori (Dracula 3D).
The cast of the film consists mostly of Kosovar actors, including Halil Budakova, Cun Lajci,
Merita Budakova, Vilson Spaqi, Adrian Vila, Edi Lushi, Adam Kicaj, Avni Luftaku and Faik Gashi. They are joined by Michael Segal (Wrath of the Crows) and Rimi Beqiri ("The Return of Helen" in 17 to midnight).
The cast also includes a surprising Paola Barale, an actress and well-known Italian TV personality for the first time in a horror film, as Iris.
Virus: Extreme Contamination is produced by Filmon Aggujaro and Halil Budakova, an actor well known in Kosovo and who plays the role of Ammi in Cristopharo's film.
Abstract: An Italian scientist reaches Kosovo to study the impact of a meteorite that apparently caused damage at the site. Upon reaching the site, the man discovers that the celestial body has been moved to a nearby military base, where all the people have turned into monstrous creatures.
