If in recent years Italian horror cinema has returned thanks to films of dubious taste, this time what is making a comeback is fear, that emotion that has been fugitive (especially in Italy) for decades along with sharp suspense.
Virus: Extreme Contamination is Domiziano Cristopharo's new horror project and will be shot in Kosovo soon. The Italian director handled the screenplay together with Antonio Tentori while the soundtrack will be by Antony Coia. Together, the three have already collaborated on E.N.D. - The Movie. Photography, on the other hand, will be by Daniele Trani (Oltre il Guado).
The cast consists of Michael Segal (Wrath of the Crows), Rimi Beqiri ("The Return of Helen" in 17 at Midnight), Paola Barale, Halil Budakova, Merita Budakova, Vilson Spaqi, Adrian Vila, Hasan Lushi, Adam Kicaj, Avni Luftaku, and Faik Gashi.
Filmon Aggujaro and Halil Budakova appear in the production of the film.
Abstract: An Italian scientist reaches Kosovo to study the impact of a meteorite that apparently caused damage at the site. Upon reaching the site, the man discovers that the celestial body has been moved to a nearby military base, where all the people have turned into monstrous creatures.
