From the producers of Insidious, Sinister and The Purge, comes the horror Viral in a collector's limited edition DVD and Blu-ray (both with booklet). The film is also being released on September 14 as a digital download thanks to Midnight Factory.
Viral is directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, the directors of Paranormal Activity 3 (2011) e Paranormal Activity 4 (2012).
Plot: Emma (Sofia Black-D'Elia) and Stacey (Analeigh Tipton) are two teenage sisters who barricade themselves in their home to escape a sudden contagion that has hit their neighborhood. Triggering the outbreak was a mysterious parasite that lurks in the victims' blood. Unfortunately, the girls' home will prove to be an unsafe place.
The screenplay of Viral is by Barbara Marshall and Christopher Landon.
