As already anticipated a few weeks ago (link to news story) about new releases from the Spikerot Records, these days the pre-order of the soundtrack of the The Vampires (1957), the film considered the "first horror film" of Italian cinematography. The Vampires is directed by Riccardo Freda and features Maestro Mario Bava as director of photography.
The label is proud to present the soundtrack of the first horror film of the sound period remastered from the original tapes and available for the first time entirely on physical format. Composed by Maestro Roman Vlad, the soundtrack matches the spooky atmosphere of this film for a dark and gothic journey.
The double-LP edition offered by Spikerot Records will be available from the December 7, 2018.
