Spikerot Records presents the soundtrack of The Vampires, the first Italian horror film of the sound period remastered from the original tapes. L'double LP edition proposed by the Italian label will be available for the first time entirely on physical format starting from the December 7, 2018.
Composed by Maestro Roman Vlad, the soundtrack matches the spooky atmosphere of this film (considered the "first horror film" of Italian cinematography) for a dark and gothic journey.
The direction of The Vampires (1957) is by Riccardo Freda while the director of photography is Maestro Mario Bava (The Mask of the Devil, The Three Faces of Fear, The Whip and the Body).
