According to folk tradition, these swift bucktoothed creatures attack with heavy iron scythes and kill those who come to live in their homes and then dip their hats in the victims' blood. Red Caps are obliged to kill regularly, as they die if the blood with which their hat is soiled dries up.
Trama: Maya e Jamie lasciano Londra per rifugiarsi nella tranquillità di un villaggio irlandese. Nel bosco che circonda la loro abitazione però, vivono cattivissimi goblin che, secondo la tradizione, devono essere sfamati per vivere serenamente. Nonostante i consigli dei nuovi vicini, Maya dimentica di nutrire le creature, scatenando così la loro ira e l'odio degli abitanti del posto.
