Universal Pictures has released the Italian trailer for Unfriended (formerly titled Cybernatural), the thriller-horror directed by Levan Gabriadze for a screenplay penned by Nelson Greaves. Unfriended is a reflection of the modern era whose real life merges with the digital.
In Unfriended (USA - 2014) a simple prank that took place online kicks off unimaginable consequences by triggering a series of terrible events that spill over into the daily lives of the protagonists. A girl is haunted on the Internet by a mysterious figure who will also begin to torment her friends exactly one year after Laura Barns' suicide. The latter committed suicide following the online publication of a scandalous video about her.
Heather Sossaman, Heather Sossaman, Shelley Hennig, Courtney Halverson, Will Peltz, Moses Jacob Storm and Mickey River make up the cast. Unfriended is produced by Jason Blum (Judgment Night).
The film will be released in Italian theaters on June 18, 2015.
