As of September 27, thanks to Unearthed Films, Francesca sarà disponibile per l'homevideo in una limited collector's edition composta da Blu-ray, DVD e CD della colonna sonora. Presentato in anteprima mondiale al Sitges Film Festival 2015, Francesca è un film che omaggia il giallo italiano ed è diretto dall'argentino Luciano Onetti, autore, tra l'altro, di un altro tributo all'Italia ovvero Deep sleep (here is our review).
Alla sceneggiatura ha collaborato lo stesso regista insieme al fratello Nicolás Onetti. Quest’ultimo è presente anche nella produzione del film (Guante Negro Films). Il cast è composto da Raul Gederlini, Silvina Grippaldi, Luis Emilio RodrÃguez e Gustavo D'Alessandro. La colonna sonora è a cura di Luciano Onetti.
Plot: Francesca, the daughter of poet and playwright Vittorio Visconti, mysteriously disappears without a trace. Fifteen years later, the writer's small town becomes the scene of a series of "Dantean" murders carried out at the hands of a serial killer whose crimes are intended to cleanse the town of "damned and unclean souls." Meanwhile, Francesca, now grown up, seems to be back...
