Pushes back the release date of Underworld Blood Wars which was moved from Oct. 14, 2016 to Jan. 6, 2017 for unknown reasons.
The fifth chapter of the saga Underworld will be directed by Anna Foerster on a script by Cory Goodman.
Kate Beckinsale will again play the role of the vampire Selene, and in addition to her, this new chapter will see the return of actors Theo James and Charles Dance.
In Blood Wars there will also be a new character namely the leader of the Lycans who will be played by actor Tobias Menzies. Lara Pulver, as a new vampire, will also make an appearance in the cast. These are joined by other names including those of James Faulkner, Peter Andersson, Clementine Nicholson, Bradley James, Daisy Head and Charles Dance.
Initially announced in August 2014 as a reboot of the franchise, Underworld Blood Wars Will be a sequel in its own right.
