After the four character posters revealed by Screen Gems and Lakeshore Entertainment a few days ago, earlier today the new poster for Underworld: Blood Wars, the final chapter of the saga Underworld. The film will land in Italian cinemas from December 1 (link to the news story to see the Italian trailer), more than a month ahead of the U.S. release set instead for Jan. 6.
Directing was handled by Anna Foerster (Criminal Minds, Outlander) while the screenplay was written by Cory Goodman (Priest).
In this fifth chapter, Kate Beckinsale plays the vampire Selene for the last time. Besides her, other actors such as Theo James and Charles Dance have also reprised their roles: the former we will see again as Selene's father while the latter as the vampire Thomas. In addition, the story of Underworld: Blood Wars is enriched with a new character namely Marius, a new Lycan leader, played by Tobias Menzies. Lara Pulver, on the other hand, will take on the role of the ambitious vampire Semira. The aforementioned actors also include Clementine Nicholson, James Faulkner, Bradley James, Peter Andersson and Daisy Head.
In Underworld: Blood Wars, Selene fights once again to end the eternal struggle between the Lycans and the vampire faction that betrayed her.
The film was produced by Tom Rosenberg, Richard S. Wright, Gary Lucchesi, David Kern and Len Wiseman.
