A24 has released the official trailer for Undertone, l'horror canadese su un'inquietante esperienza sensoriale vissuta dalla protagonista.
Interpretato da Nina Kiri (Let Her Out, The Heretics), il film sul sound design da brividi segna l'esordio alla regia di Ian Tuason, il quale ha scritto anche la sceneggiatura.
Undertone debutterà nelle sale USA e in quelle canadesi il 13 marzo.
Plot: Evy hosts hosts a paranormal podcast with her friend Justin (Kris Holden-Ried), where she is the skeptic and he is the believer. After moving back home to care for her dying mother (Michèle Duquet), Evy is sent recordings of a married couple experiencing paranormal noises in their home, drawing Evy into a spiral of fear and torment.
Undertone premiered at the 29th Fantasia International Film Festival on July 27, 2025,[4] where it won the gold audience award for Canadian films
Kris Holden-Ried (Night of the Demons 3), Michèle Duquet, Keana Lyn Bastidas (Festival of the Living Dead), Sarah Beaudin and Jeff Yung also star.
