In addition to the Korean zombie movie Train to Busan, Midnight Factory propone, per l'home video, l'horror iraniano Under the shadow - Il diavolo nell’ombra (aka Under the Shadow, Sotto l'ombra). Written and directed by Babak Anvari, the film will be available from the Oct. 26, 2017 in a limited edition DVD and Blu-ray, both accompanied by an exclusive booklet.
Winner of a 2017 Bafta and triumphant at genre festivals around the world, Under the shadow - Il diavolo nell’ombra (Iran - 2016) è un sorprendente horror sovrannaturale ambientato nella Teheran del 1988, durante i conflitti post-rivoluzionari agli inizi della guerra tra Iran e Iraq.
Trama: Shideh (Narges Rashidi) è una mamma musulmana che vive insieme alla figlia Dorsa (Avin Manshadi). Un giorno, un razzo colpisce proprio il palazzo in cui vivono le due ma fortunatamente rimane inesploso. Il missile però ha aperto una grossa crepa nel soffitto del loro appartamento e, da quel momento, iniziano a manifestarsi strani eventi che sconvolgeranno la vita di Shideh. Un'entità maligna infatti, cercherà di possedere sua figlia.
