We share, exclusively for DarkVeins, two never-before-seen photos from the new and latest film by Domiziano Cristopharo, a prolific Italian independent director known for his horror films (Red Krokodil, Nightmare Symphony) and also extreme (Xpiation, TetroManiac: eROTik).
Filming began last October and will be completed in the fall.
This is an 80s-style body horror shot in a mix of super-8 film and digital, a secret project whose plot, poster and title will be revealed only at the first public presentation, according to the director's wishes.
The story is based on a novel by German extreme author Jean Rises, who also appears on the film crew as a producer. In addition, the literary work will be distributed (in German, English, and Italian) along with the film.
Domiziano Cristopharo wants this latest film project of his to be a product primarily intended for his fans and collectors. This is precisely why the film will enjoy a very limited and valuable edition.
The cast includes Jose Luis Lemos Paez, Carlos Marreiro and Daniele Arturi (The House Guest).
The soundtrack is by Mº Vincenzo Ricca while the special effects are by Athanasius Pernath.
