Last August 1, we told you about Two Left Arms, the film started in 2012 by Domiziano Cristopharo (Bloody Sin, Hyde's Secret Nightmare, Virus: Extreme Contamination) and only recently completed. Today we present, as a preview for DarkVeins, the newly released trailer and five new stills.
The story of Two Left Arms stars Paolo Stella and Italian actress and model Yvonne Sciò and is inspired by Lovecraft's stories but also by the legends of the Abruzzi hinterland, a place that seems to have several similarities with the themes addressed by the famous American writer. Suddetta film work thus mixes paganism, extraterrestrial contact and the dark mystery of the province.
To sign the screenplay of Two Left Arms is Andrea Cavaletto (Hidden in The Woods), a screenwriter who previously collaborated with Cristopharo on Hyde's Secret Nightmare, Doll Syndrome and The Transparent Woman.
The cast includes Paolo Stella, Yvonne Sciò, Federico Pedroni, Yuri Antonosante. Special guests: Frank Laloggia (American director of Scarlatti - Lady in White), Ruggero Deodato (the director of Cannibal Holocaust) and also Carlo de Mejo, here in his last appearance as an actor before his passing).
Editing and color are by Alessandro Redaelli (P.O.E. Pieces of Eldritch - "King Plague" segment).
The soundtrack, on the other hand, is by Susan DiBona and Salvatore Sangiovanni.
