Sherilyn Fenn and Sheryl Lee, actresses who played Audrey Horne and Laura Palmer, respectively, in Twin Peaks, revealed some previews at Crypticon in Seattle concerning the new and long-awaited third season of Twin Peaks which, as mentioned in our old article (here the link), will see David Lynch directing again.
The new chapter of the story will not consist of 9 episodes as was initially announced but of as many as 18 for a script signed by Mark Frost and Lynch, the creators of the original series. Also involved in the project again is Angelo Badalamenti, the American composer and author of the famous soundtrack of Twin Peaks (1990) and also those of other well-known Lynch films including. Blue Velvet, Lost roads and Mulholland Drive.
Filming will begin in September and will take place near North Bend, a town made famous by the TV series itself.
