We publish a preview of the teaser trailer of Trypophobic Posession (2023), a medium-length film starring Cory DeAn Cowley, a U.S. SFX artist and actress who is widely followed on social media for her extreme make-ups and who recently made her directorial debut by participating in the horror anthology movie 6 Songs.
Trypophobic Posession is an exclusive by Goredrome Pictures and will be released this month in an Ultralimited Mediabook edition with two Blu-ray discs.
As the title suggests, Trypophobic Posession addresses the issue of trypophobia, or the fear of holes, irregular groups of small holes or protuberances, and is argued to be due to biological revulsion that associates trypophobic forms with danger or disease.
In trypophobia, exposure to the phobic stimulus elicits severe discomfort, anxiety, or disgust in the sufferer, to the point of panic, nausea, and chills.
In Trypophobic Posession, Cory DeAn Cowley will play an extremely disturbed subject, dragging this phobia into the territories of horror and the extreme.
Jim MejÃa Mittmann also appears in the cast.
