As of today, Feb. 16, the pre-order of Trypophobic Posession (2023), a medium-length film starring Cory DeAn Cowley, a U.S. SFX artist and actress who is widely followed on social media for her extreme make-ups and who recently made her directorial debut by participating in the horror choral 6 Songs.
Trypophobic Posession is an exclusive Goredrome Pictures and is available in the Ultralimited Mediabook edition (Cover A and Cover B) with two Blu-ray discs. Disc 2, the two cards and slipcover are limited to pre-order only.
Also available on the label's website are the film's magnet and T-shirt.
As the title suggests, Trypophobic Posession addresses the issue of trypophobia, or the fear of holes, irregular groups of small holes or protuberances, and is argued to be due to biological revulsion that associates trypophobic forms with danger or disease.
In trypophobia, exposure to the phobic stimulus elicits severe discomfort, anxiety, or disgust in the sufferer, to the point of panic, nausea, and chills.
In Trypophobic Posession, Cory DeAn Cowley will play an extremely disturbed subject, dragging this phobia into the territories of horror and the extreme.
In addition to the aforementioned actress, the cast also includes Jim MejÃa Mittmann.
