Let's go back to talking about Trauma, the Chilean horror film by Lucio A. Rojas (Perfidia, Sendero), about the release of the red band trailer accompanied by new stills. Presented as a rape&revenge thick with drama, violence and cruelty, Trauma will have its world premiere screening at Mórbido Fest, Mexico, in late October.
With his raw film, Lucio A. Rojas sheds light on the atrocities that humans are capable of committing, resulting in extreme situations. The villains of Trauma in fact they are not fictional but are inspired by characters who really existed and were part of Chile's bloody history.
Trama: Andrea (Catalina Martin) si mette in viaggio per raggiungere un lontano zio. Insieme alla ragazza ci sono anche la sorella Camila (Macarena Carrere), l’amica Julia (Ximena del Solar) e la cugina Magdalena (Dominga Bofill). Giunte a destinazione, le quattro turiste vengono aggredite brutalmente da un uomo e da suo figlio senza essere soccorse dagli abitanti del posto. Lo sfortunato gruppetto si rivolgerà così alla polizia locale ma senza avere l'aiuto sperato.
