Let's go back to talking about Trauma, the Chilean horror film by Lucio A. Rojas (Perfidia, Sendero), about the release of the red band trailer accompanied by new stills. Presented as a rape&revenge thick with drama, violence and cruelty, Trauma will have its world premiere screening at Mórbido Fest, Mexico, in late October.
With his raw film, Lucio A. Rojas sheds light on the atrocities that humans are capable of committing, resulting in extreme situations. The villains of Trauma in fact they are not fictional but are inspired by characters who really existed and were part of Chile's bloody history.
Plot: Andrea (Catalina Martin) sets out to reach a distant uncle. Along with the girl are her sister Camila (Macarena Carrere), friend Julia (Ximena del Solar) and cousin Magdalena (Dominga Bofill). Upon reaching their destination, the four tourists are brutally attacked by a man and his son without being rescued by the locals. The unfortunate group will thus turn to the local police but without getting the help they hoped for.
