Warner Bros. Italy has shared the official Italian trailer for the mystery thriller film Trap, the new film written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan (The Village, The Happening, Split, Old).
Trap stars Josh Hartnett (30 Days of Night), here in the role of a serial killer, and will arrive in Italian theaters on August 7, 2024.
For Trap, M. Night Shyamalan was inspired by the1985 Operation Flagship, a real operation put in place by U.S. marshals to capture fugitives.
The story features an assassin dubbed "The Butcher" who joins his daughter at a concert for pop star Lady Raven but he realizes too late that the event is a trap set by police to catch him.
In the cast of Trap there are also Ariel Donoghue, Saleka Shyamalan, Hayley Mills and Allison Pill.
The film is produced by M. Night Shyamalan's Blinding Edge Pictures Production and will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros.
