Coming soon is the sequel to Train to Busan (aka Busanhaeng), the heinous South Korean blockbuster zombie movie in Asia, and distributed in Italy last year thanks to Midnight Factory. Sang-ho Yeo will return to direct this sequel, and filming will begin in the first half of next year.
The story of the film will have as its point of reference the same virus that infested the train in the first chapter but this time the epidemic will spread to the entire Korean peninsula.
Plot of Train to Busan: Seok-wu (Yoo Gong), a financial manager separated from his wife and too focused on work, travels with his few-year-old daughter Soo-an on a train bound for Busan. Also boarding that vehicle is a young girl who has strange injuries on her body. It will be the young girl who will spread a dangerous virus among the passengers that will turn them into frenzied living dead.
A box-office champion in Asia, this remarkable zombie movie was released in 2016 to much acclaim among fans of the horror genre and attracted positive critical attention.
