After the news of the sequel to Train to Busan (2016), it has been announced that the heinous South Korean zombie movie will also have a US remake.
New Line Cinema got the rights to make the American remake of the horror film Train to Busan, a project in which James Wan (through his production company Atomic Monster) and Gary Dauberman, who will instead handle the screenplay, will collaborate.
Recall that Wan and Dauberman have previously collaborated on the spin-offs of The Conjuring: Annabelle and the prequel Annabelle: Creation and also in the recent The Nun - The Calling of Evil.
Plot of Train to Busan by Yeon Sang-ho: Seok-wu (Yoo Gong), a financial manager separated from his wife and too focused on work, travels with his few-year-old daughter Soo-an on a train bound for Busan. Also boarding that vehicle is a young girl who has strange injuries on her body. It will be the young girl who will spread a dangerous virus among the passengers that will turn them into frenzied living dead.
