IFC Midnight has released the poster and official trailer for. Our House, the supernatural horror film that will debut in U.S. theaters on July 27, 2018.
Inspired by the supernatural thriller Ghost from the Machine (2010) by Matt Osterman, the film features Anthony Scott Burns (segment "Father's Day" of the horror collective Holidays) while the screenplay is by Nathan Parker.
Our House features a boy whose invention will trigger the wrath of supernatural entities.
Following the sudden death of his parents, Ethan (Thomas Mann) is forced to leave college and even his girlfriend (Nicola Peltz) to care for his two little brothers. At night, however, the young man takes refuge in the garage to complete his invention: a machine that can generate electricity.
The device accidentally summons the souls of the dead who will haunt his house.
Ethan and his siblings will try to get in touch with their parents, but malevolent entities will also be present among the friendly spirits.
The film's cast includes Thomas Mann (Amityville - The Awakening), Nicola Peltz, Percy Hynes White, Christine Horne, John Ralston, Lucius Hoyos, Allison Hossack, Kate Moyer, Robert B. Kennedy, and Jennifer Nichols.
