Before I wake (USA - 2015), the supernatural thriller-horror by Mike Flanagan (Absentia, Oculus - The Reflection of Evil) today enjoys a new trailer thanks to Relativity Studios. The film, already released by us in theaters on May 25 with the title. Somnia (from Koch Media), will instead see the light of day in U.S. theaters starting Sept. 9. Before I wake is the story of an adopted child whose nightmares materialize in reality during sleep.
Plot: Cody (Jacob Tremblay) is adopted by husband and wife Jessie (Kate Bosworth) and Mark (Thomas Jane). The little boy is a quiet child but is afraid to fall asleep because of an evil presence that he says disturbs his dreams. The two adults attribute his malaise to various failed foster care attempts and hope that he will soon be integrated into the family unit. What the couple later learn is that. 
everything Cody dreams about materializes in reality with incredible repercussions. The two decide to investigate their adopted son's past to trace the cause of his nightmares.
In addition to Thomas Jane (The Mist, The Veil), Kate Bosworth and Jacob Tremblay, the cast also includes Annabeth Gish, Dash Mihok, Scottie Thompson, Jay Karnes, Lance E. Nichols and Justin Gordon.
Mike Flanagan edited the screenplay for. Before I Wake in collaboration with Jeff Howard. The director also handled the film's cinematography.
