Produced and written by Dana Gould (Stan Against Evil, The Simpsons), this film about possessed dolls features Nicholas Verso (Boys in the Trees, Nowhere Boys) as director.
The protagonist of the story is David Cashman, a very busy man who has promised his family a fun Christmas vacation. Once they arrive at the old orphanage located in the snowy woods of Washington, his wife and children realize that it is actually a working vacation for him. In fact, David plans to restore the structure and then resell it, which will send his wife Hannah into a rage. Meanwhile, the three children, wandering around the building, find some old toys from which they will later be unable to part.
Only Nanny Rose will notice the children's strange behavior and the strange influence the toys have on the entire family.
In the cast of Toys of Terror there are Kyana Teresa (Shadowhunters), Georgia Waters (Siren), Verity Marks, Dayo Ade, Saul Elias, and Zoe Dish.
