Enchanted Architect has just released the second trailer, new poster and some stills from Torment (Italy - 2016), the extreme horror film written by Likov Mitoloskih and directed by Adam Ford (The meat museum). Torment is part of the "Death Trilogy," an Italian extreme saga produced by Domiziano Cristopharo (Bloody Sin, Red Krokodil) and started with Sacrifice (2016) from Poison Rouge. The third chapter, Atonement, has already been announced.
The story of Torment is loosely based on the case of U.S. serial killer John Wayne Gacy (1942 - 1994), known as "Pogo the Clown." The man in fact used to put on makeup and disguise himself as a clown to entertain children at parties. Gacy was sentenced to death in 1994 for torturing, sodomizing, and killing more than thirty victims (all male).
Adam Ford's film, currently in post-production, in addition to depicting the evil nature of the serial killer, will aim to enhance the "torment" that is, the state of immense suffering to which the victims are subjected.
The cast includes Matteo De Liberato (as the clown), Rikky Fiore, Marco Pielich and Manuel Favaretto. The soundtrack is by Mauro Crivelli.
