In these hours it was announced that the Italian extreme films Torment and Deep Web XXX will come out with "Too Extreme For Mainstream", the brand new sub-label of the American label Unearthed Films.
Also coming soon, both films will be distributed (in prestigious Deluxe Collector's Editions) by TetroVideo, the new reality for the distribution of horror/extreme films for both the UK and Italy.
“Too Extreme For Mainstream" of Unearthed collects all those excessively extreme films (therefore not suitable for normal distribution), the content of which is considered illegal in several countries.
To avoid running into legal trouble, films tagged "Too Extreme For Mainstream" will not be available on Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart or other online retailers but, in limited and uncut quantities, exclusively on the official website of Unearthed Films where, for each title, a month of pre-orders will be dedicated.
Because of their revolting and disturbing nature, the titles that will be available thanks to the Unearthed series therefore include the above-mentioned Italian extreme films viz. Torment (Italy - 2016) by Adam Ford and the choral horror film Deep Web XXX (2017).
Below is more info on both releases:
Winner at the Nightmares Film Festival 2017, Torment does light on the darker, crueler, and sicker side of John Wayne Gacy (1942 - 1994), the serial killer known as "Pogo the Clown," tracing his despicable deeds performed in the sexual sphere.
The cast includes Matteo De Liberato, Rikky Fiore, Marco Pielich and Manuel Favaretto. The soundtrack is by Mauro Crivelli.
Recognized as one of the most extreme films in the horror genre, Torment (movie review) is part of the "Death Trilogy", an Italian extreme saga produced by Domiziano Cristopharo (Bloody Sin, Red Krokodil).
The first chapter of the franchise is American Guinea Pig: Sacrifice (link to review) from Poison Rouge while the third is Xpiation (link to review) directed by Domitian Cristopharo.
